Book Review - The Doll's House by Natasha Boydell
Book Review - The Bachelorette Party by Catherine O’Connell
This book will not disappoint, so much secrets and lies between friends. It is enjoyable but a slow burn. At the end of the book I wanted to know more. Was a very good read.
Book review, When I Disappear by Amanda McKinney
Another book to be read in 2025.
Amazing book. Draws you in from the first page. Amazing twists! Loved every bit of this book! Five stars. Can't wait to discover more books from this fabulous author.
Book Review, Clare Mackintosh - Other Peoples Houses
This was a gripping read and it will not disappoint.
I have read the previous books with Ffion and Leo and I loved them. This book can be read as a stand alone as well.
I loved how this book came from three of the characters, including Leo's ex wife. I loved reading about how Ffion and Leo's relationship had developed as well.
This book is not predictable in any way. My jaw dropped a few times when I was reading this!
Book Review - Clever Little Thing, Helena Echlin
In 2025 this book must be added to your reading list, it is very well written and has aspects of supernatural occurrences intertwined in this thriller.
I was gripped from the start and I would not sleep until I finished this book, was not sensible on my part as I only had 3 hours sleep.
The book kept me constantly guessing what the outcome would be, anytime I thought I got close to the clue, I was wrong!
The main character Charlotte, it was hard to know until the end of the book if she was mentally ill or not. The characters are great! Such a good psychological thriller!

Book Review - The House Swap by Miranda Rijks
So, this story is about two couples, one lives in London and the other couple lives in a gorgeous area in France and they decide to do a house swap for a few weeks and things just start going slightly wrong.
I only reviewed this book as 3 stars, it started off really good. The first chapter was gripping apart from the more I read, I found it quite predictable and the ending was very rushed.
Book Review, The Perfect Boyfriend by S.E. Lynes
WOW!WOW!WOW!
Hands down, this has to be one of the best thrillers I have read in a long time! The prologue had me hooked on the first page. It is another book I have read in a day. The way the author described the scenes and the characters really allowed my imagination to feel involved.
If you are not Scottish like I am, the slang is quite light so it is easy for others to understand. This book has excellent characters and excellent plot twists! I physically could not put it down. 5 Stars!

The blurb - Perfect boyfriend. Perfect liar. Perfect killer?
"Her
I am on my way home, thinking only of the quiet, happy evening to come, when I see something completely impossible, and my heart stops dead. I would recognise those gorgeous pale blue eyes anywhere. It’s him. The high-school boyfriend I adored… Until the day he vanished without a trace.
I run towards him, my pulse racing. He turns, politely, a puzzled look on that familiar face. ‘I’m sorry,’ he says. ‘Do I know you?’
I need answers. I’m certain he’s lying. I just have to prove it.
Him
Of course you recognised me. Always so keen, always trying to do right by everyone.
It’s typical of my bad luck that we happened to run into each other.
I left this place for a reason – one you never knew. And now I’m back, I have plans.
And I’m afraid, my dear, that you’re getting in my way…"
